Hippo Cover: Summer Movies Review

I was hired to create another exciting cover for the Hippo showing a bunch of summer movies characters coming out at the viewer. It was a ton of work but it came out great.

Life Drawing

This model did a fantastic job staying still and getting back into pose after her breaks. I'm pleased over all, except with the face, I ran out of time. Vine charcoal on Canson charcoal paper 18"x24", 3 hour session. I should have another one next Tuesday and I'll try to post some other too. You can see more here.

Illustration Friday: Chicken

I look in my tub on Tuesday after I checked to see what this weeks IF topic was and low and behold I see a chicken and a seal (or fish). I didn't paint these in my tub. My son and daughter had their tub crayons hung up in their little holder and they dripped to form these two shapes.

Completed Poster and Tickets

A recent poster and ticket job for Ignite Promotions that I just completed. They are hosting a Black Light Party at Milly's Tavern on January 22 and they needed posters and tickets for the event. The colors are from traditional "black light posters" so you really get the feel without even reading what the posters say. Once inside the event, the tickets and posters, whose designs mimic each other to create a brand/event unite, will glow under the lights.
