Little White Building

Here is a watercolor and pen & ink painting. The line quality is varying and exciting and adds movement and focus to the painting. Your eye is drawn to the little white house in the shadows of the green trees. Is the building a bar? Is that were all the local fisherman head after a long morning of fighting the ocean? I'm not sure either but it would make a nice story.

Finished Watercolor Demonstration

I did a watercolor demonstration on Saturday for a group of about 15 wonderful girls. One of them was turning 105 in June. They were a great bunch and were asking me a lot of questions which made the demonstration even more fun. Here is the finished painting from that demonstration.

To Little Beach

This is going over the hill from Big Beach to Little Beach on Maui. I really enjoy how the subdued lower portion directs your eye to the green foliage and beautiful sand of the beach.
