Training for the Manchester Marathon

It was 8:00 in the morning, 65 degrees, perfect blue sky, birds chirping, and I was a few miles into my 20 mile run for the day, when I ran by a man of the streets. I said good morning to him and then thought about what I had said. When i got down the road I started laughing because I had to get home and draw this comic.

It's still a great accomplishment!

I saw the highlights of historical hit and thought it sure would be nice if the"fan" that recovered the ball gave it back. No no, didn't sell it back or put it on eBay but sent it back to Barry with a simple not saying thanks. I would like to think that is what I would do but who knows...

Not Da Vinci

Here is a digital sketch I did in Photoshop with my Wacom tablet for my nephews birthday. He loved it and I hope you enjoy it too.

I am working on some paintings now so I should have some new stuff to post soon. Well at least sooner than the 2 months it took for this post.

Thanks for looking, Time to Draw!

This Book Will Change Your Life!

You Need to Read This Book TODAY! You don’t need credit cards. You don’t need car payments. You don’t need to be in debt your whole life. WOW! Do you know how much money you would have if you were making “payments” to yourself, instead of to banks with interest?

My brother recommended I read this book “The Total Money Makeover” by Dave Ramsey, and since then I have been such a proponent of this book and Dave’s simple, not easy way to deal with money. When I started talking to friends and co-workers about it they asked me repeatedly “are you on commission?” I’m not on commissions; I am just passionate about sharing good information that is changing my life. This is not a get rich quick scheme but a clear roadmap to handling money. I bought the book for $25 and will save over $800 this year. I listen to his radio show m-f 2-5 and it very educational.

This is a great book and really smashes myths that we all have been marketed and sold. We don’t need consumer debt, we don’t need car payments, and we don’t need to have our student loans living with us for 20 years.

You need to read this book today, for yourself, for your family, and for your future.

This is the start...

Here is a sketch that I am going to paint with gouche, watercolor, vector tight, and really loose vector. You'll see what I mean when you see what I mean.
